In early June, a new cultural centre opened in North Tallinn, offering live music, festivals, theme nights and, of course, food stalls and fresh drinks.
Paavli Kultuurivabrik can be found next to the bus depot, right next to Paavli’s huge recycling centre. Opened in the depot area, the Cultural Factory is a nice-sized and cosy place.
Gigs, DJ sets and relaxed moments
The grand opening of Kultuurivabrik was celebrated with a three-day festival in early June. The new venue attracted a large crowd on the opening weekend and the following days. Tallinners have welcomed the new venue, even though the location is rather surprising. The Kultuurivabrik is easily accessible and on a sunny day or a summer evening it is a great place to enjoy the company of friends and the urban atmosphere.
The area is not huge and is divided into different sections. There are comfortable places to sit and dance both inside and outside. The fenced, fairly compact area is sheltered from the wind, and when the sun is shining, it’s guaranteed to be a good place to sit outside late into the evening.
The atmosphere in the area is enhanced by the campfire and of course the relaxed atmosphere of the music. Fresh drinks can be bought from the bars and if you get hungry, there are easy finger food and toasts on the menu.
