Levier is an absolutely delightful bakery-café that makes by far the best macarons in Tallinn. The French-style café is located in Rotermann, just a short walk from the harbour and the Old Town.
Levier is the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and taste the delicious bakery products. Levier also has a shop in the Rocca al Mare shopping centre where you can pick up some of these heavenly treats.

Levier is renowned for its handmade macarons made from natural ingredients. They are free of additives, lactose-free and gluten-free.
The café also offers a selection of dishes, making it a good place for lunch or dinner.

There are many more delicacies to be found in Levier than just sweet pastries. In the café display case, you will find more and more tempting pastries, quiche pies for those with a savoury appetite, croissants, buns and delicious cakes. Levier has also invested in a quality coffee and tea selection. In addition, the café also offers a selection of wines.
The bakery-café is small and cosy. It is comfortably furnished and the large windows offer a view of the Rotermann’s atmosphere. Levier is the perfect place to enjoy alone or with a friend. Dogs are also welcome.
Of course, you can also take some pastries from the Levier home or to your hotel room to enjoy. The bakery-café also has its own online shop, where you can pre-order a really wide range of different pastries and bakery products. Levier also accepts special orders, for example, if you want to order a cake with a little more special wishes to decorate your party table.
Levier is led by the Estonian Queen of Cake
Levier is backed by Estonian cake queen Angeelika Kang. Kang is the author of several baking books and a well-known figure in Estonia. She can be spotted in Estonian women’s magazines, talking about her career, her exercise routine or showing off her beautiful home.
Angeelika Kang spends a lot of time in Italy and France, where she draws inspiration and lessons for her bakery-café. Kang’s book, Ovenly delights, is sold in Levier’s website. In the book, she reveals her secrets to making the perfect pastry. The book also includes several recipes she has developed herself, which you can test at home.
