For those who are on a gluten-free or vegan diet, Tallinn is the perfect destination. The city has a good selection of vegan restaurants, including Vegan V., which has been a favourite in the Old Town for years, Klorofüll, opened in spring 2023, Rohe and Nihe cafés in Balti Jaama Market and Telliskivi, cake café VegB12b and vegan fast food restaurant Veg Machine in the food court of Balti Jaama Market.
All of you who are on a gluten-free diet can also enjoy a range of restaurants. Vaffel in Kalamaja serves savoury and sweet gluten-free waffles and Kivi, paper, kääred restaurant in Telliskivi has long been a favourite with gluten-avoiders.

The light and bright café is easy to visit if you are in the Kalamaja area. Healthy Sweets by Polina offers a wide range of delicious pastries, cakes, biscuits and filled breads, and of course a selection of teas and coffees. The café’s products are all made without gluten or added sugar. So you can treat yourself without any worries! Healthy Sweets by Polina also serves lunch on weekdays.

Another great café serving healthy café delicacies can be found a little further from the centre. Nady Café, located about 8 kilometres from the city centre in Lasnamäki or more precisely Priisle, offers a selection of gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free cakes, sweets and chocolates. The café also serves breakfast and lunch. Nady Café’s pastries, and indeed all products, are not only pleasing to the taste buds but also to the eye. The dishes are not only healthy but also so beautiful.
