Mikkeller is a Danish brewery with a passion for beer. In addition to brewing, the Mikkeller brand also includes bars, restaurants, clubs and even festivals around the world. In Tallinn, there are two Mikkeller bars serving beers and food that goes well with beer.
At the Viru Centre food court you can enjoy brewery products, as well as sinfully delicious fried chicken sandwiches and other easy-to-eat bar snacks such as nachos, fries and wings. Mikkeller in the Old Town offers stunning taste experiences to go with your beer in the form of carefully thought-out tapas-style dishes to share.
The menu at the Mikkeller restaurant in Old Town is designed by Karjase Sain and Barbara’s chef
Mikkeller in the Old Town is a stone’s throw from the historic Town Hall Square, the birthplace of the Danish flag, Danneborg. This restaurant combines not only the shared history of Estonia and Denmark, but also the culinary traditions of both countries. In addition to the brewery’s own beers, the restaurant also serves beers from the Estonian brewery Õllegalleri and a menu designed by Kenneth Karjase, the legendary café-bakery Karjase Sai, and the newly Michelin-starred chef of Restaurant Barbarea.
It’s easy to stop by the effortlessly stylish Danish-Estonian restaurant for a refreshing beer and tongue-twisting dishes while wandering around the Old Market. On sunny days, the restaurant’s terrace is a great place to watch the bustle of the medieval city and rest your feet.
The menu at Mikkeller in the Old Town offers a huge selection of beers to suit all tastes. There is also a food menu to choose from. The menu includes tartare, duck liver pate, falafel rolls, cheese balls, burrata, meatballs and other fairly typical-sounding dishes, with excellent versions. The dishes are designed to be shared, so we recommend ordering several varieties and enjoying with a friend. There is no compromise on portion size and 2-3 portions per eater will satisfy even the biggest appetites.
